1. Rental Process
How can I rent a room?
If you find a room or apartment you like on our website, simply contact the responsible agent via the contact form. Just enter your phone number and email – our team will get back to you as soon as possible to discuss the next steps.
You can also find our listings on WG-Gesucht.
If your preferred room is currently not available, feel free to reach out anyway. We’ll be happy to help and find a suitable alternative for you.
Is an online viewing possible?
Yes, we also offer online viewings via WhatsApp or video call. If you’re currently abroad, no problem – we’ll be happy to show you the apartment digitally and answer any questions you may have.
What documents are required for the rental contract?
To prepare your rental contract, we require the following documents in advance:
A copy of your passport
A copy of your university enrollment certificate or employment contract
Proof of your blocked account (Sperrkonto)
These documents will be requested by the responsible agent during the application process.
2. Apartment & Furnishings
What furniture is included in the room?
All of our rooms are fully furnished. Typically, they include:
a bed with a mattress (pillow and blanket depending on the room)
a wardrobe with hangers
a desk with a chair
How is the kitchen equipped?
The kitchen is fully equipped with all necessary cooking utensils – everything from pots to cutlery is provided.
Is there a washing machine? Does it cost extra?
Yes, a washing machine is available in the apartment and can be used free of charge.
What internet speed is provided?
A reliable high-speed internet connection is available – ideal for online classes, home office, or video calls.
3. Rental Agreement & Costs
Is the rental contract limited?
Yes, the rental agreement is fixed-term. The minimum rental period and the cancellation notice period are individually agreed and can be found in your contract.
What fees apply?
The monthly rent already includes all standard utility costs – electricity, water, heating, and internet.
The only additional cost is the legally required broadcasting license fee (GEZ). This must be organized and registered independently by the tenants and is shared equally among roommates.
Rental Contract Details
The landlord confirmation form (Wohnungsgeberbestätigung) will be sent to you digitally after the contract is signed.

Can I talk to the current tenants?
Yes, this is possible during in-person viewings. If tenants are present, you’re welcome to speak with them.
During online viewings (video calls), this is usually not possible.
